Colorectal cancer is the fourth most commonly diagnosed cancer in the United States and the second leading cause of cancer deaths. Dr. Cedrek McFadden, board-certified colorectal surgeon, joins TODAY to share new progress in detection, treatment and follow-up. Then, Craig Melvin shares the new shirt and socks he designed in honor of his late brother, whom he lost to the disease, and announces that NBCUniversal will be making a donation in support of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance.
