Marks and Spencer will open three new sites in England this year, with one store opening this month and two more locations set to open after the summer. The retailer recently confirmed the opening date for its new store at Poole Retail Park, in Poole.
The Food Hall will open on August 12 and will feature a modern flower and plant shop and a hot food counter. The supermarket will be located in a former Homebase space that has been empty since 2025. Councillor Matthew Gillett said: “It’s great to see investment in our community. A new M&S Food will give residents more choice and create new local jobs. It should complement existing trade.”
