Jack Draper was unaware that Jannik Sinner had released a single with Italian music icon Andrea Bocelli.
Sinner features with the spoken word on Bocelli’s new song, Polvere e Gloria.
Draper and Sinner are close friends, but when asked about the new collab, the Briton responded: “What, really? Was he singing?”
Told that it was the spoken word, Draper joked: “If he wasn’t singing, then it’s obviously not like a duet, is it?
“I think it’s nice that tennis players, our life is just so tennis, tennis, tennis. If he’s found something that he likes doing on the side of that, then fair play.
I don’t think I’ll be doing any singing. But, you know, the guy who he did it with, he’s big in Italy, right?
“Fair play to him. He’s obviously done something that’s pretty cool that they both enjoyed. That’s nice, yeah. I’m not sure if I’ll be doing any collaborations with anyone, but each to their own.”
