Wolves are expected to reject an offer from Borussia Dortmund for wantaway striker Fabio Silva as they look to extract maximum value from the 23-year-old’s sale.
Silva impressed on loan at Las Palmas last season and a host of European clubs are interested in signing him this summer.
Borussia Dortmund have been in negotiations with Wolves over a transfer fee this week and Express Sport understands that an offer worth £17.3m was communicated. Of that figure, £15.6m would be paid up front with a further £1.7m in add-ons.
The proposal is set to be rejected as it does not meet Wolves’ valuation. It is understood that Molineux chiefs want £17.3m up front with an additional £4.3m in potential bonuses, taking the total package up towards £22m.
Real Sociedad, Villarreal, AS Roma, RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt have also taken a liking to Silva, who is still young and has room to develop despite being on the Premier League scene for five years.
