More than 32 tons of butter have been recalled across the U.S. and in the Dominican Republic due to an undeclared allergen. Bunge North America issued a voluntary recall for 1,800 cases of butter on July 14 according to the FDA and that recall was given a Class 2 risk level where any use of or exposure to the product can “cause adverse health consequences.”
