Ryanair is being investigated by the UK’s competition watchdog over charges imposed on parents to sit next to their child on flights. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has launched an inquiry against the popular airlines’ £8-per-flight charge.

According to the airline’s terms and conditions, children between the ages of two and eleven are required to be seated with at least one of their parents.
